Hi, my name is Ericka and I’m TheiPadKids.com Mom.

This parent area of our blog will help share how I am making this blog as safe as possible for kids of all ages.

  • I monitor any comments before they are allowed on the blog. I also monitor our related Facebook and Twitter accounts everyday.
  • We do not review or show games or apps meant for adults. We also do not review games for teens which have extreme violence or are inappropriate.
  • I try to mentor and monitor TheiPadKids.com to make it a safe and fun resource for kids to interact with other kids about the iPad.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have personal information on a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information from our systems. The iPad Kids encourages parents to go online with their kids. Here are a few tips to help make a child’s online experience safer:

  • Teach kids never to give personal information, unless supervised by a parent or responsible adult. Includes name, address, phone, school, etc.
  • Know the sites your kids are visiting and which sites are appropriate.
  • Look for Web site privacy policies. Know how your child’s information is treated.
