Now unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve seen the mass amount of rumors this year of the Verizon Iphone/IPad. So I’d figure to write an article about the controversy and show you the facts and rumors…
Ok, This is going to cover two of the most significant articles based on the mass amount of articles and overall talk of the Verizon Iphone/Ipad. So I’ll be covering this in two sections based on each rumor.

I like Legos and the iPad. This man is very good at it and he has a magazine about Legos.
This info below my typing now is from a website called
PC World so click that link to see it or read the stuff below:

Shelf Unbound, the literary magazine I am the kid contributor for, is printing releasing their digital magazine TODAY!
The cool thing about the iPad is that a lot of magazines are now on the iPad. So, instead of going to the bookstore and buying a copy (gas, time, wasting paper) you can download an issue RIGHT NOW and ta-da!~ presto: you can start reading.
I really want to read about the creepy doll in the photo above. Really.
Yeah, I’m not really into skateboarding, but the photos are neat. I do like the ice cream photo and story (it it [ ... ]
So, this guy Jeff said 50 million iPads will sell a year.
Yeah, 50 million sounds like Jeff Matthews (a guy at RAM partners) thinks Apple is trying to make everything seem amazing.
I mean, 50 million is really a lot. Too much.
But, then I looked at how many iPads are selling and thought about it.
Apple sold
1 million units really fast when it came out. Then it hit the
3 million sales just as fast.
right this minute 4 million iPads have sold.
Apple thinks 12 million are gonna sell by the end of this year (hello Christmas [ ... ]

A new iPod is coming out.
Apple will hold the Special Event on September 1st. You can see in this photo that Apple is starting to get ready. They are decorating the outside of the San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the launch of the new iPod Touch.
Music!! iPod!

USA Today newspaper and a Dallas newspaper had stories running about the iPad and kids in school.
I think all kids will have an iPad in the future. It just makes sense. Just like we all have backpacks now and do not carry our books with twine. I mean, really, who doesn’t think the iPad is going to change the way kids take notes, share notes, eliminate textbooks, have project websites, teacher class website links, the whole thing.
So, here is the news from major newspapers, but as kids we can see that future because we are into it already.

So, we set a goal to get 1000 fans on our Facebook fan page, The iPad Kids.
You can see our Facebook fan page- click
here.
And we wanted to reach this 1000 goal by the time school started (today!!) just because we like goals (& wanted to have a cool thing to say in school about The iPad Kids!) See, we started this site over the summer and we are so excited to tell our friends.
Well, by last Thursday we were not even close to the 1000th fan. We had about 860 fans.
Over the weekend we had a bunch [ ... ]
The other day I finally got to see Julia and Nico again lol. I hadn’t seen Julia for a few weeks and I hadn’t seen Nico since I got my iPad.
It was great because we iPad Kids do most of our work and communication stuff over the internet (because we’re super-cool-tech-savvy people like that) so we don’t get to actually see each other that often. It just goes to show that no matter how awesome the iPad and other techy things are, you can never really replace good old humans haha.
So we got to just sit and talk [ ... ]

Some of you may remember a post I wrote about Wattpad a few days ago, talking about free e-books. As it turns out, I was slightly mistaken. Since then, I have been in contact with one of the ladies working with Wattpad. She’s been really great about writing a new post and answering my questions.
I had originally said that you could get free e-books on the app (they also have a website: www.wattpad.com) but that is not completely true. They do not (I repeat: DO NOT) allow copyrighted material onto their website or app. They have content filters that [ ... ]

People used to think the war between Coke and Pepsi was still a good test. That is funny. Because when u go to a restaurant or drive thru and ask for a Coke they always say,
“Is Pepsi okay?” like they are sorry they don’t have the good choice in drinks: Coke.
So, Microsoft will start saying,

When I read about this dude who makes serious art on his ipad i thought, Why? I mean, he studied for years to be an artists and now his work is so one dimentional. But, like all graphic art- it is one dimentional. His is just done by finger and not a mouse, right?
Here is excerpt from the article in Daily Mail: David Hockney, one of Britain’s most influential artists, has taken to creating artworks with the new Apple iPad (left) and the iPhone (right)

Shelf is a magazine about books and magazines (I know, kinda like an infinity loop thing going on, right?)

Fingertip input is great for most touchscreen usage like typing, web-browsing – all sorts of virtual button-pushing tasks. But for many people, drawing remains an activity best approached with a pen, pencil, brush, etc.
With a bit of conductive foam and wire, it’s surprisingly easy to make your own conductive stylus, suitable for use with iPhone, iPad and similar conductive touchscreen devices – and you’ll likely find it a lot more precise compared to regular fingertip input.
