Shelf Unbound, the literary magazine I am the kid contributor for, is printing releasing their digital magazine TODAY!
The cool thing about the iPad is that a lot of magazines are now on the iPad. So, instead of going to the bookstore and buying a copy (gas, time, wasting paper) you can download an issue RIGHT NOW and ta-da!~ presto: you can start reading. I really want to read about the creepy doll in the photo above. Really.

well, im am very sad to say that my wonderful summer is at an end, and school starts tomorrow:( well actually i am happy to see my best friends, old friends, bestie, boyfriend, friends, and bffls. and everyone else too but ya’know THERE IS SOOO MUCH WORK!!! being a 7th grader is hard you know!!(gimmie some credit here) Gettin back and meeting your new teacher, meeting new people who will now be spending the year with you, old friends (ily guys!) getting books situated, and ughg its so disasterous,

The other day I finally got to see Julia and Nico again lol. I hadn’t seen Julia for a few weeks and I hadn’t seen Nico since I got my iPad.
It was great because we iPad Kids do most of our work and communication stuff over the internet (because we’re super-cool-tech-savvy people like that) so we don’t get to actually see each other that often. It just goes to show that no matter how awesome the iPad and other techy things are, you can never really replace good old humans haha.
So we got to just sit and talk [ ... ]

I like to ripstick but you like to skateboard. I see people doing both at the skateboard curvy parks.

Fingertip input is great for most touchscreen usage like typing, web-browsing – all sorts of virtual button-pushing tasks. But for many people, drawing remains an activity best approached with a pen, pencil, brush, etc.
With a bit of conductive foam and wire, it’s surprisingly easy to make your own conductive stylus, suitable for use with iPhone, iPad and similar conductive touchscreen devices – and you’ll likely find it a lot more precise compared to regular fingertip input.

Okay, so tonight we are eating meatballs from IKEA (tell your mom to buy them in the frozen section, plus the red cranberry sauce stuff. ) YUMMY-

so, thinking of meatballs i wanted to see if there are any apps about meatballs. I mean, they say there is a app for everything now , right?

It is called Papa Meatballs. Pretty fun, you have to guess where the meatball is under the bowl. Hard level is my favorite.

we just got my favorite case that i have gotten for review!! its called the Defender Series by OtterBox. http://www.otterbox.com/
actually i just found out that they have a defender series for the iPhone 4 too! that’s beast.
so we just got this case and i absolutely love it! its really sweet. its really intricate..
like it has soooo many parts!! the back, the stand, the outer skin, the actual case, the dock port, the iPad opening, the grips, the place for the camera
(even though it doesn’t have a camera, there will be one in a later addition of the iPad, [ ... ]

This TV clip/quote wouldn’t be so amazing would it? I mean it is confusing-what computer to get? iPad or no? But it is that amazing because… it’s from 1999!!!

The answer: no. No I do not.
Buuuuuuut… I have to-there are only 17 days left until school starts again (summer went by so quickly!!) and it’s probably about time to get all of my summer reading and summer math packets done. You know, get into the “school mode” I guess.
This app can help! It’s actually really neat-the app opens and it looks like a little planner thing. It has five tabs down the side (one is on the left-that’s the one you’re open to. and there are four down the right side). To switch between tabs just click on [ ... ]

We are total fans of comic books and Sam Parks, one of our friends, has a company called Monsterverse (cool name, right?!) This new comic series just came out with the
first issue -a collectors item because comics first issues are always popular.
(NOTE: This is a print comic- you know…you hold it and read it. Not on your iPad. We just wanted to share with you a cool comic, yeah, it’s random and has nothing to do with the iPad. But it does have to do with fun!)

The iPad is destined to take over gaming such as NintendoDS, eBooks (goodbye Kindle), and now people are reading magazines on the iPad. World Domination or will we all keep duplicates…magazines, nintendos, Kindle readers???
Instead of buying Sports Illustrated from your local Barnes and Noble you can download a digital issue on the iPad. I is fast, easy, and the digital version has special effects. You can click pages and get more in depth info. Or in Fortune Magazine’s issue they have a article called “Is Google Dead” and the Google logo melts into a puddle of mush.
